Hong Kong Disneyland

I haven't got much to say about Hong Kong Disneyland, except if you are used to going to the Disney parks in the United States, you can skip this one.

Much of the park is a disappointment. It is much smaller than either Disneyland or the Magic Kingdom at Disneyworld. Most disappointing is that there is only one mountain, Space Mountain--Big Thunder Mountain, the Matterhorn, Splash Mountain, even Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion are all missing.

Instead the park does have some spectacular live performances that are missing from the U.S. parks...but still...it doesn't really make up for the lack of the thrill rides.

However, you will get to ride the dedicated Disney subway train. Lots of not-so-hidden Mickeys!

We were there for the Halloween parade. Interestingly, this Disney park also had several walk-through haunted houses...seriously creepy with people jumping out at you. Not Kinsey's favorite and not particularly small-kid friendly.
