What Have I Done?

We have been in China for less than 24 hours, and I am seriously thinking, “What have I done, going on a trip like this for four months?”

I suspect most of that feeling has to do with our budget accommodations, although just in general, traveling like this is hard. And doing it by yourself—by that, I mean being the one in charge of everything—is very daunting. And, no, I am not curled up on my super-hard bed sobbing into my little travel pillow. I’m not even close to that. But I am thinking, “Can I really do this for four months?”
